FAQS

WHAT IS REHABILITATION PHYSIOTHERAPY?

Rehabilitation physiotherapy aims to optimise patient function and well-being, to help integrate that patient back into their chosen lifestyle activities whether at home, work or leisure. Rehabilitation focuses on changes to functional disability and lifestyle restrictions based on the patient’s own goals for functional improvement.

Rehabilitation can be used for recovery from injury or disease and also for the management of long-term conditions (e.g. Parkinsons and MS).

HOW CAN I PAY?

Electronic BACS is the preferred payment method and is requested prior to the initial assessment.

Subsequent sessions can be paid for at the time of the appointment either by cash of BACS transfer.

If required, invoices can be sent monthly by email (or post if preferred) and the payment period is 30 days.

Payment can also be taken by cheque by prior arrangement with Claire.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

On receiving your referral (either self referral or through a professional), email contact will be made (wherever possible) and a New Client Questionnaire will be sent to you. It is preferred that this be completed before your first appointment and returned by email. This will help to minimise the time needed at your initial appointment for form-filling.

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

No, you can self-refer or request referral through any medical practitioner

WHAT IS YOUR COVID-19 POLICY?

CAN YOU SEE ME AT HOME?

CS Physiotherapy is purely community based therefore all appointments happen in the comfort of your own home. In certain circumstances (e.g. hydrotherapy or gym sessions) Claire will see you at mutually agreed community service locations.
